Use the Furnace
Copper ore is processed in a Furnace, not the Forge menu. In the September 6 Demo discussion, a player describes using copper ore and coal; Chris Cote clarifies that Molly supplies a free Furnace while introducing the Forge.

Get production unstuck
- Check your inventory for the Furnace Molly gave you.
- Use that station for the copper processing recipe.
- Carry the ore with you.
- Check the displayed fuel and input requirements before starting.
Why stored ore may be missing
The developer's August 29 explanation separates two systems: crafting can draw ingredients from storage, while processing draws only fuel from storage. Ore in a chest therefore does not satisfy the same role as fuel.
Move the intended input into your inventory and check the station again. This is not a reason to build another Forge.
Limits
These replies do not give an ore-to-bar ratio, duration or complete Molly quest walkthrough.
